How will we know where to camp? When do you think we'll get a map? I use to go to Yellow 3 at Balado, favourite camp site, especially after spending some time at Red. We had plenty of space, it was quietish, next to a watchtower, good ground, never at risk of flooding, no trouble, cleanish etc

Will want to find somewhere like that again.

Being the first year will make it a bit of a free for all. The only things to guide your decision will be 1. proximity to entrances 2. features ie places water can pool or toilets.

The 'character' of each site is pie in the sky just now. They'll probably already know what it will look like but I wouldn't expect it to be launched until next month.

Feel like I can finally start looking forward to this now! When do we reckon we'll get the site map out?

This month, with the festival going ahead and the planning permission all accepted they now know exactly how the site shall be laid out so expect it this month

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
