Yeah I saw it on there :)

In a slight retraction, people have asked him as part of a Q+A on his book promotion tour, his reply was 'no comment' but said in such a way that it meant 'yes, but i am not allowed to say so'

How reliable is the source? Seen 1 tweet about it.

A couple of people at the gig all said he said no comment to it and tried to allude away from the question. Every time I've ever spoken to him about Glasto, especially last year since it was my first year going, he always said it was a straight up no.

Talked to a guitarist from Wolf Alice yesterday after their Rescue Rooms gig about playing Glastonbury and he said "I don't know - we can't say anything yet." I'm taking that as "yes, but we can't confirm it yet" because if they weren't playing, surely he'd just say no?

There's an extremely convenient gap in their touring schedule too.

My logic is undeniable.

Wasn't the only one they talked to about Glasto that night then :)

      Doesn't surprise me. West Yorkshire had a vote if they wanted a mayor in 2012 and voted no. The government then ignored the vote and announced the position anyway in 2016.

      Also agree, it does feel that there isn’t much between the Mercury Prize and the Brit Awards these days.   This part sums it up for me “The complaint isn’t so much about the quality of the music, but more the disappearance of spaces for outsider voices in British music. With streaming algorithms feeling increasingly geared towards big names, and social media acting as a minefield, the Mercury’s pivot to the mainstream closes another door in the face of creative independence.”
