I saw hessle audio on Friday, and I asked Ben ufo if he was at glasto this year and he said yes. But I can't remember if he meant the full hessle audio show or just him. Memory is hazy but I'm pretty sure he said yes.

Either way pleasing. Good ask!

Not a confirmation - sorry - but girl from Slow Club asking for people to pray that they get booked:

Just back from watching Slow Club, it was really something. They definitely deserve to be booked for Glastonbury, it was such a fun show, they were putting everything into it, and were openly delighted about playing their songs to people. I think if Emily had been in the room tonight, she'd be throwing Pyramid headline slots at them, it was that special, it was very easy to get swept up in, even on a Sunday night. I'm thinking they'd do very well opening the Other Stage on Saturday or Sunday, The Staves did a grand job of that slot in 2013, and Slow Club did an equally great job opening the main stage of Latitude festival on the Friday of last year.

Nicky Blackmarket is a dnb legend. Was on last year on the thursday night in the club / tent with the Underground train stuck on the side. I'm not into Drum and Bass. My mate is, we went to watch him.

I enjoyed it as much as I could enjoy 2 hours of Drum and Bass.

Nicky BM played hardcore last year not dnb

yes yes!! love ben ufo so cheers for getting that info.

i see him playing the WOW stage and then perhaps genosys or somewhere else down in the SE corner.

i suppose hessle trio could work in the dance village too headlining the WOW.

or maybe a daytime appearance at one of those boat parties outside.

i've seen him in small venues in leeds both on his own and with hessle and i much prefered his own set without the other two I must say. He played Metro area <3

Was a 89-92 night in the london underground I believe, hardcore proceeded jungle which proceeded dnb so was hardcore and very very early jungle all night that night, dnb was the Friday

Well it sounded like Drum and Bass to me..as I say though, I went with a mate who was into it. It's not my genre. I enjoyed it, but I was pretty fucked

That's fair as I said it's all from the same family tree as it were so can see how someone wouldn't realise the difference .. It was quality in there too be fair though....the whole of block9 was packed that Thursday with the Frankie knuckles night in the nyc downlow aswell.... I spend to much time and money in the London Underground last year

Gregory Porter on BBC Breakfast when asked...

"Yeah, there's some word on the street that I'll be there but you'll have to tune in when they announce who'll be there."

Admittedly not a confirmation but pretty damn close.

    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
