I'm probably being blind, but watching Sharon Jones on Jools now, and looked up her dates and she's got Glastonbury on the 29th in her listings but haven't seen her on the 'announced' bit, so I think I'm being blind.

Kinda confirmation https://twitter.com/midlandsound/status/461165673247690752

Looks like both Bicep and Midland are playing on the Sunday then playing boat party together @ Hideout the day after.

He seems to have deleted the tweet now so I'd say you're probably on to something!

Also Tony Bowen - on FB he says he's playing West Holts.

Added all three to the playlist.

Just saw Mani stocking up in my local Aldi (Gravesend) and there was something about the way he handled his veg that screamed 'I'm headlining Glastonbury'.

Bumped in Mani at Glastonbury once. He said he was dying for a piss

    • On the Wet Leg crowd - the opening day always has the worst crowd of the festival. A lot of locals show up purely because it's a cheap evening, often with not much interest in the acts performing, so, while the talking is an issue throughout the festival (and increasingly at gigs/fests everywhere) it's particularly rough on the Wednesday every year. I'll only bother next year if I really like the act playing.  The wristband is basically a souvenir these days, which I like, as I keep them. Also I guess for the festival it's kind of cheap advertising as people walk around the city with them on.
    • Hoping the day splits will be included with whatever the secret is.
    • They will search bags going from the campsite into the festival site. How thoroughly they do that varies greatly from one security person to the next. If they find any cans they probably won't confiscate them, but more likely they'll offer you the option of drinking them there and then or taking them back to the campsite
    • He's got Auditori written all over him.
