I think they've messed up here - they know the reaction that sort of thing will get. yeah it's all publicity for their remasters annoucement but all the people who'd be interested will immediately have bad sentiment towards them because they were expecting something a lot more.

They should've just dropped it I think instead of advertising it - they'll just disappoint many of the fans they are targeting

I really like Oasis, so i'd be happy to see a reunion, but I just feel it'd be people being there, to be 'there', as opposed to being actual fans, resulting in hoards of northern lads throwing piss at Everyone.

Either way, they aren't reuniting, so irrelevant.

Noel's having strings recorded for his new album. Reckon he'll wait for the World Cup to be out of the way before releasing it late summer/autumn:

I've read that the remastered, re-issue, of Definitely Maybe is being released in May. The album was released in August 1994, so not quite 20 years! Think Noel doesn't want it happening at the same time as the promotion for his new record? Hope we get some extras/rare/unreleased material with the re-issue of Definitely Maybe.

Oasis are the ones that created the piss-throwers at gigs, the label that released Definitely Maybe was skint, so inventively made the most of the advertising budget by putting ads in football programmes, among other places you wouldn't usually find music adverts. Ground zero for the piss throwers.

Hahaha! Just woke up from a dream that I met Noel Gallagher (in the "Later with Jools Holland" studios where we were both thrown out for heckling Beady Eye for being shit) and managed to convince him that "Be Here Now" was Oasis' best album (the phrase "yes It's coked up and overblown but so is "There's A Riot Goin' On" was used) and that he needed to reissue it with a quieter remaster so that the drums aren't clipping all over the place. Oh, and just take "All Around The World" off there altogether...

I really hope that's what the announcement will be...

    • 1 - Mock Media - Rat Bastard 2 - Maquina - Body Transmission 3 - Mary in the Junkyard - Role Model Hermit   Honourable mentions to The Hu - Hun, Madonna - Confessions II, and Swapmeet - Mount Zero for also being solid.   Sadly, really didn't connect with the new Yard Act, a real shame as loved their last two albums and thought this one would be a shoe-in for AOTM, but felt it was a bit too generic..
    • Anyone had email yet?
    • See him doing either wilderness or the forest live shows more
    • I always fancied going to this one - it had my sort of lineup. Shame.
