mcshed
Of course, Disclosure, Franz and 'Shambles are English based so it doesn't really make a difference anyway

The 38 year old virgin
They are certainly not English based, which is what was said originally and I would argue that the band is Scottish even if most of the members aren't. We'll take the rough with the smooth though I consider Snow Patrol to be Scottish as well.

DomDom1984
If you're from Northern Ireland, you're Irish. If you're from Scotland, you're Scottish. If you're from England, you're English and if you're from Wales, you're Welsh. Nevermind that "THEY WERE BASED HERE!!!" shite to try and claim them. galeforcerob
How about skindred? Playing download and they always share a few bands. Great UK Ragga metal act, could play a pretty tame set early on the other stage?

thesecretingredientiscrime
Neither are they English based which you did say, and as has been pointed out to me there is probably more of an argument for calling them English than English based. mcshed
I know for a fact that the majority of the band lived in London during the release of the new record. Whether that's true or not now, I do not know. It's also worth pointing out, i said based, as in currently. I didn't say"were based" inferring they came to England to break through. I was making no reference to their nationality or their origins, hence my choice of words. If I was making the same point about Arctic Monkeys, I would say they are American based, because they currently are. Being someone who got annoyed this week because Radiohead were claimed to have been from Abington, I know how annoying things like that can be, yet really pointless. ghandi
I see that Moorcheba are touring Aus this year and then playing " The Secret Garden Party" later in teh Summer. What's the chance of them appearing , seeing as we are revisiting the trip hop period?
