If it is a million registrations in total, then its quite misleading, especially the bit about 1 in 6 chance of getting a ticket, which is just the 1 million divided by the number of tickets up for sale (138,000)

If they are not just new registrations then I think the chances of getting a ticket are very good, because a very high proportion of those million will be old registrations from a few years back, duplicate registrations and people who don't want to go this year.

Take this year, hoe many people on these forums did not get a ticket in the end? I think very few. We should do a poll of people on these forums of who tried to get a ticket for 2012 and were successful versus unsuccessful, I think we would be surprised how low the unsuccessful percentage would be

No need to panic. Yet

nervousness setting in. however, I do truly believe that if you want to go badly enough, you will end up with a ticket. last year I got tickets for me and my mates in the original sale (with great difficultly); tried and failed to secure a ticket for another friend in the resale; missed several of the 'secret' sales, only to finally get him a ticket sometime in May. I'd given up hope by that point, but saw mention of a sale on twitter, went onto the site, and the booking went through on first try.

think pos.

That'll be me. I'll take my chances with the 6th. Glastonbury is a very special festival and is close to my heart, but I need to drive there myself or be driven by someone in a car. My girlfriend has very limited use of one arm and also cannot carry too much weight on her back ( she is currently experiencing a rabid moment as well!). I think it would be impossible for me to carry the bulk of the stuff we need via the coach option.

Hello dingbat2. You must have missed a little bit of my public procrastination on here. I'll not go into the boring details, but in the end I decided to go for a ticket on the 6th and if successful it would give me more time to do my head in about whether to actually go or not. I suppose I'm in a fortunate position in that if I don't get a ticket then I'll genuinely not be gutted.

Thanks dingbat. I feel exactly the way I did before the operation. However, I only relatively recently found out that instead of cutting 2 inches of bowel away they actually removed half. That doesn't leave me with a lot to play with really. I didn't know about what went on because I abruptly left the hospital in my pajamas and jumped into a taxi to my girlfriends (without any money on me and not knowing if she was in or not) after a consultant told me I had to go home that day. I thought he meant straight away so off I trotted all lithiumed up. None of the staff noticed me go. I later heard that when they realised I'd 'absconded' there was an all points bulletin put out to staff to see if they could intercept me, and there were porters searching high and low. I didn't mean to cause such a palaver. I really did interpret it that they wanted me to leave the hospital there and then.

    • Hezbollah rejected it. Really Israel should get the f**k out, and US and others should support the Lebanese govt in defeating Hezbollah.
