I could be right or wrong, some will know this is a prediction for a while, they know who they are.

The Prodigy to be the SPECIAL GUEST sub for R&L, IOW need time to sell some tickets.

Surely that wouldn't work The Prodigy into Mumford, could if be Primal Scream? Playing with Mumford on the Gentlemen of the Road Tour

Don't see it being them. The Prodigy into Mumford would be baffling.

And The Prodigy into Arctics wasn't?! Look at that day mate, ATL, PATD and Kneck Deep, plus that act finishing the night in on the NME stage. Close as you're ever getting the The Prodigy and Pendulum in one night there.

I DID think that, but seen Chase and Status into Mumfords first hand.

This!

Take Arctic Monkeys' actual performance on the night out of the equation and I don't think that's such a strange transition.

I think it'll be alt-J.

Nah not big enough.

alt-j with outside chances of Ben Howard and The Vaccines, I'd say right now.

Agreed. Ben Howard was announced for Eden Project on the day of the R&L announcement but no one on here mentioned it. Either him, and that's the reason he's held back, or alt-J, who are being held back because of Latitude.

And you might be correct, but can you find me the last time a Latitude or probable Latitude header to play at R&L as well the same year has not been announced? Foals is actually the last Latitude header I know to play 3rd down in 2013 and it's been less and less regular recently. Foals were announced just as normal.

Isn't Latitude normally announced before R+L though?

Only last year dental, history shows it's usually about a month after the R&L lineup comes out, was the two years before that I think either way, 1st Monday in March for both, meaning they announced in this case Foals in 2013 without actually caring that they were heading Latitude as well.

And in 2009 The Prodigy weren't held back for R&L to sell more tickets for IOW, which they were headlining, so history rules out your prediction as much as mine.

Surely The Vaccines wouldn't miss Reading and V... Seems strange, got to be at one but can't seem them slotting in at V anywhere. Think reading and V might still be having a bidding war over them and that's why reading have special guests so if they don't win the bid they can put alt-j there because FR has them for latitude. Don't think this is the case but just a thought I wanted to put forward :)

Latitude announce at 12pm on BBC6 music.
