Shiiine weekender is where you need to be looking at.

I have seen it mate. I am in work the whole weekend. I have seen most bands on there numerous times and the only band on the line up who I would watch no matter what is The Mondays.

Have worked out all my holidays for the year and I am able to do Glasto, V and Kendal Calling. Depending on the Sunday line up for Leeds then I may do that as well.

Not sure if you know already but the Sunday at Leeds is the Metallica day.

Jake Bugg is playing Notts County (I think the stadium rather than a shitty bar or something..) with Darlia, Catfish, The Enemy and more supporting.

I realise that sounds like a lot on here's worst nightmare but there may be a few interested.

Where have you seen this? Can't find it anywhere

I have never seen them mate so would give them a go. Not really the type of music I would listen to at home on my own but they are supposedly pretty good live.

I don't fancy doing creamfields any more soI will probably go Leeds come what May.

Yep, I'd heard they were great live, but they still massively exceeded my expectations at Glastonbury. They were a surprisingly good start to the R&L announcements for this year, so hopefully the rest follows suit.

Savages playing Field Day, so they're back on the scene this Summer. Where would they play this time? Not got any bigger since 2013 but I don't think they'd work in a mid-afternoon slot so I'd like em in the same slot again, subbing FR (to The Cribs).

Also on The Cribs for FR thing, they clearly enjoy playing intimate shows and obviously see themselves as being pretty punk, so I reckon they'd be up for it. Kinda like the Feeder booking, they'd be quite a big one.

Looks a good one to be fair and Ultrasound creeping in there.

To close to Christmas for myself and others who would be interested. Just a shame they haven't done it outdoors in summer.

Hozier 3rd down/sub NME? I think that Catfish will sub that stage too now.

Catfish are doing really well at the moment but they're still growing and are not as established as Jake Bugg or The 1975 were when they played; I think a sub position would risk their slot being poorly attended

More likely for V in my eyes.

Hozier appears to have genuine hype at the moment; people scrambling to get tickets for his shows and so forth. V usually seem to wait it out until that time has passed and the act has finished growing so I think for the moment he feels like more of a R&L booking

Also new Mew:

    • Oh im sure - theres loads    but just as an observation from the film, If you have not seen it yet im sure you would love it
    • Reading seems to have sold really well this year from the posts they've made re. tickets. I don't think it's going anywhere anytime soon, I think for the vast majority in here (myself included) it just doesn't cater to us. That said, if I was still under the age of 18 I'd be thrilled with the Reading lineup this year (not so much Leeds).
