If linkin park are headlining lets get blur as the final headliner

that's never been done before :)

System are touring too, lets get them on the bill. Jack White can sub blur and placebo can also play!

The Black Keys? They had a top ten?

wouldn't have thought they'd be a headliner myself (although the bookers might've thought, like most people, that their new album would take off a little more than it did)

getting one of Glastonbury 2014's headliners and one of it's subs as headliners would seem a bit shite, mind

Foals, 30STM, The Strokes, Sabbath, Kanye, Jay-Z, KOL, C&S, Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Black Keys, Kasabian, Linkin Park, all had top 10 albums between the start of 2013 and August 2014

i ruled out the ones i thought are completely unrealistic.....

Id rather LP than KOL on that list...

Foals, 30STM and C+S not big enough.

Kanye and Jay-Z because they don't have guitars and Melv says.

Sabbath and Linkin Park because they won't headline as well as 'tallica.

Then we have The Strokes, KOL, Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Black Keys and Kasabian. Optionally remove Arcade Fire and Kasabian because of Glasto if you think that and Black Keys and perhaps the Strokes if you don't think they're big enough.

Basically take them away until you get Pearl Jam.

Nice try but you have KOL left over too

For some weird reason I think the libertines may have chosen a lower slot at glastonbury over reading...

Nothing but a hunch, maybe they weren't even asked for reading. I know its the sun but they do have a track record of sometimes knowing and publishing things pretty early.

No chance, they'll get offered much more to headline Reading than to sub at Glastonbury

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
    • Seems to be getting reported as his only headline show in UK, I would say he's probably out BST now but can be on the Sunday teatime glasto slot or something
