cracking announcement.

robert plants swayed me to going (others going permitting)

would see foals and catch haim and 1975 if nothing else was on.

anyone going this year for the first time i have to stress.

if its really warm you wont want to go to everyone you originally say.

i ended up seeing like half of my clashfinder last year because of it but then seen a few that i wouldnt normally have went too out of lazing around the arena

Ooh that's a bit of a rescue, great additions to the lineup - fairly original too. Makes for a very strong but potentially clash-rich Thursday and Saturday. I think we will bow out this year and try something different, new horizons and all that. For people asking about tickets i would agree - April would be too late or cutting it very close to get tickets but you might be lucky.

Anyone going - don't miss Triggerfinger and Placebo - they're two of my favourite live bands!

Robert Plant...well, it'd be rude not to really!

Haim...bland as!

The 1975...from the one song I've heard...bland as!

Kodaline....pure gash!

Foals....didn't like first album, but like them more now as time has gone on.

Valerie June....don't know her.

Positives outweigh the negatives though, makes me happier theres a few more I do want to see.

Was actually going to ask on here would Kodaline play as they announced a gig with KoL in Dublin today. Hopefully thats the end of bad Irish bands on it (take the hint Bastille!)

Still hoping for one or two heavier type bands, Alice in Chains would have been perfect. Eagles of Death Metal would be sweet.

Think Phosphorescent is going to be in Europe at the time too, so maybe he will show up.

Ha ha Mushy25 you are not wrong about The 1975 and Bastille (apart from the Irish bit). Kodaline = "pure gash", brilliant!

Looking forward to my first Rock Werchter. Any chance of bands like Savages, Radkey or Royal Blood?

    • Yet again we’re missing the WH Sunday reggae slot
    • Occident has got larger over the years and there's relatively little overlap with mbv and OR fans that I think it would work fine as it would divide the crowd so effectively.   They don't even need to give the biggest stage from an optics perspective either, this would be billed as a secret short set and used to promote her new album.
    • Really like this! Few artists a bit low I reckon like the Reytons, Yard Act, the Royston Club and Florence Road but I’d absolutely take this!
    • Yeah Olivia Rodrigo walked right past me when leaving the crowd during The Cure set.   I had to escape where I was in the crowd so was just chilling in the bottom left corner when she walked through with a couple of others.    Thought it was her or someone who looked incredibly like her but no-one else seemed to pick up on it, either not bothered or just too engrossed in their own conversations to not notice..
    • Why?   It’s all made up nonsense, an illusion for the masses.   Who do we owe these numbers on a server to, and how will they collect them?
