Well, selling out a 2000 tickets venue in 5-6 weeks can hardly be called succesful, and a B-sides album isn't worth a lot when the official radio sponsor isn't even playing the Opposites singles (nor the previous albums ones).

I'm not saying we can definitely can exclude them, but compared to the other repeats we already have and the ones undoubtedly coming (Bastille, Disclosure, Rudimental) Biffy Clyro hasn't exactly got a huge Belgian following. Which might be in their disadvantage if the festival wants to cut on repeats.

Weezer would be fantastic if they were to make an appearance, saw them at Sonisphere '11, one of the bands of the weekend.

Would like to see Mogwai at RW too. I see Anathema are playing Download fest, are there any chances of a band like them showing up? I can't see it myself unfortunately, but I'll live in hope.

From the Primavera lineup, barring QotSA who I know won't be there, I'd love to see Godspeed You! Black Emperor added. A 40 minute slot, should squeeze in 2 songs there.

Not holding out any hope for Biffy being added, mainly due to the repeat status, but maybe some luck will swing my way. Seeing them in Cork the week before is easing the thought of them not being there.

I assume there are no ideas on the next announcement yet?

Do you guys think QOTSA are a possibility now? I know everybody had ruled them out but if RW was trying to negotiate with Foos/Muse but had to change their plan and settle for KoL, maybe they'll try and get QOTSA to play before/after them??

Don't hold me to that though but I'm just assuming they will both be closing their stages which would make sense for them to be on at the same time.

depending on what he plays he might be alright, haven't heard his first single of his solo album though.

... good add at the first second! then I realised Damon will clash with Metallica or Skrillex... shit!

allways the same crap with clashes...

you think more names will be added this week?

it's a bit strange the way they are announcing this year don't you think? It allways was lists of 20 names more or less every two week but know... why this change?

    • Is anyone selling a medium camper van parking spot - I would love to buy it off you!   Bought our tickets a while ago and have since found out gf is pregnant and will be 7 months by festival! Luckily family have just bought a camper van we can borrow so we can still come along but… the medium parking spots have sold out 😞
    • Sure enough I did finish the Brosnan Bonds. Goldeneye is good but I think might be overrated by some Bond mega-fans, The World Is Not Enough is ok but nothing more than that and Die Another Day is just wild. I didn't hate Die Another Day like some have but its basically a wacky sci-fi film with Bond movie clothes.
    • Monaco comes across to me as something that's great for just watching people driving around, especially this year as it feels like this is a track where they can actually push compared to other circuits where superclipping ruins it, but where the cars seem to have outgrown it.   Though tbf Formula E has had decent Monaco races recently so maybe its a sign of car development philosophy being a factor.
    • Feel like a lot of people do just sit around by the stage at a festival waiting for one act anyway, no? I know Swift has a big mega-fandom - she wouldn't have done so many Wembley shows last year if she didn't - but it's not like she'd be unique in playing a festival and drawing a crowd on that specific day just for her.   But then tbf I feel like there'd be a few happy just to mosy around the rest of the site until maybe 2/3 acts beforehand.
