T In The Park 2014

i'm thinking a scenario where the black keys will play festivals pre-album release, and then return to headline festivals like reading in 2015. That way a sub for them will be justified now?

I just want them to play basically

I think if T pulled out all the stops and put on a great full lineup there could be some actual music fans their this year. In hope it goes back to the old days and pulls a stormer of a lineup which will then be followed by the crowd. Fingers crossed

I hope Tyler the Creator is there again, one of the most bizarre yet awesome sets I've ever seen, why put a non dance act in the Slam tent when the DJ desk is still there, who knows but it was just awesome

The Black Keys headlining friday at Optimus (along with Arctic Monkeys on the Thursday) so would have to be Saturday or Sunday if they played

I think with the way things are shaping up, The Black Keys will definitely be at T one of the days, which would be a decent booking for T.

Has to be Sunday, right? Friday in Portugal, Tuesday in France.

I suppose there's the possibility of them doing BBK instead but 1) it'd have been announced today and 2) they could be doing Benicassim which would rule them out of Bilbao.

So basically, they're a banker.

That's true, we said this for a few bands touring around the time of T this year having thought about it, and they didn't book them so maybe we are jumping the gun a tad!

Not T this year, however I expect them to sub feats like t and glasto this year and maybe after the album headline reading in 2015 on exclusive?

I'm not so sure they could ever quite headline a big festival over here. I think they're great, but they don't have quite enough wow-factor. They make a good sub to warm the crowd up, but I can't see them being the main event.

There were about 12 of us watched them on NME last time they played. They were very good. I know they've grown in popularity but I can't see them headlining.

Black Keys will probably release two albums between now and August 2015 anyway. They're fairly prolific.

Arcade Fire are doing a gig in Marlay Park in Ireland in June, wouldn't be surprised if they did one in Glasgow as well. Maybe at Bellahouston?

Why Isn't T In The Park listed on Arctic Monkeys tour? But every other festival they are doing is?

Anyway with festivals like rock wercheter, Optimius alive, and others being close to T can we see who's around and maybe pull together some suggestions.

Skrillex to headline Radio One one day? I wouldn't be surprised, he has a new album and his latest mixes show he's changing it up abit!

would pixies or franz ferdinand play T? I can imagine they could but maybe their placings will be unpopular with some fans?

I fully expect (hope) the black keys are there, that would be a beautiful booking!

Jack Johnson is playing Bilbao, fully expect him to go down well if he was booked for T!

fully looks like the lumineers are doing July festivals, i'm not a fan but I think they'd find a nice place on the T lineup for people who want to see them.

Martin Garrix announced for another EU festival T weekend...& Haim for Slottsfjell the weekend after T.

Funny how much of the lineup we can possibly piece together just from who's around..

So in conclusion we could expect, Skrillex, Franz Ferdinand, Pixies, The Black Keys, Jack Johnson, The Lumineers, Haim, Martin Garixx, Pheonix, the 1975 to all be somewhere on the bill I reckon.

Am I not wrong in saying that we could have (yet again) a very very strong T in the Park, seeing as Arcade Fire and Biffy are the other two headliners
