So pool of possible headliners slowly getting smaller and smaller

Personally I think the credible options at the moment are:

KOL

Arcade Fire

Muse

Prodigy

Chilis

Blur

Foos

[Deeps]

I still can't see Prodigy being a main stage headliner.

On the KOL note, one of my pals said she saw KOL in the Hilton in Glasgow today, which seems strange. Not sure why they would be here. Not playing any gigs round about now are they?

I'd worry about Kasabian being on that list.

What I think is almost definite:

Biffy Clyro

Kings of Leon

Can only see Kings of Leon or Jay-Z from that lot (along with Biffy). Justin Timberlake has a tour over in America at the time of T, and I think Arcade Fire will be flying back home at that point.

Kasabian I think will probably do their own show, possibly one of these Glasgow shows. I'll also endorse #WhynotRATM

Just noticed this in the Reading announcement chat:

'Headlining the Rock Stage will be Of Mice & Men with what will be their exclusive festival performances in England & Wales.'

Seems they might be playing in Scotland then, otherwise it would have said UK festival exclusive. Not that it really matters as I doubt they would be taking up a massive slot at T

Its a bit worrying that lots of big names are being announced elseehere in the UK and Europe. I hope T isn't going to end up chasing the leftovers again.

Arcade Fire will still be in Europe when T comes around. They don't go back to the US to resume their tour there until August.

Arcade Fire will be in Europe in July. God knows what they're doing in that time, but they'll be here.

That seems like a likely trio and it'd be a terrific trio as well. Best headline trio for 3 years anyways.

EDIT: Is that source just giving the Arcade Fire info btw? I say that because Biffy subbing is still in my mind.

I can easily believe it. I think this would make them the likely Sunday night band with Biffy on Friday and AM being the big Saturday band, which would make sense.
