King Tuts: Franz Ferdinand.

Radio One: Skrillex

King Tuts: Pixies

SUNDAY

Mainstage: Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, Lilly Allen, Rudimental

Realistic, and I reckon we're sharing that friday night headline thing with IOW.

That Saturday night clash is brutal. The Friday would be the easiest of choices and go and see QotSA. Same with Sunday and Manic Street Preachers.

I could see Nutini sub-headline in a way like that. Can anyone else see Travis play main stage early one of the days?

I've been considering, maybe we're reading into the "international" thing too much, expecting something bigger than it will be.

I won't be surprised if our headliners are just Arctics, Biffy/Calvin & Eminem.

Calvin technically is international as he has hits worldwide. As much as I love them Biffy are a local act, they don't mean shit in many other countries. But could international just be a term to say these are HUGE acts or something?

Meh I wonder.

Anyway

Merry christmas, enjoy the drinks!

Like it or lump it, he's a regular, and it's very likely he'l be there taking a high spot.

It's always justified though seeing as he releases new material constantly and his fanbase grows by the month.

Soon he will be a standard festival/worldwide headliner. Just get used to it... I don't like him either but it's going to happen so it's best to accept it.

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
    • Yeah I did spot that AXS had more available for the O2 shows Muse are doing, though I think that comes with the territory of AXS now being the venue's primary ticket selling platform.    My instinct remains they'll probably still play to a big crowd on the night - sales were similarly slow in 2023 but videos of those gigs showed the venue looking pretty much full. Equally it probably would be sold out if the pricing was even just slightly less ridiculous. Shave up to £50 off some of these categories and I think that would've got people to go with it.
    • Some are definitely already there with that and with another round of inflation looking like it's on the way, it certainly locks that in. And I say that as someone who also isn't willing to break the £100 marker.
