If recent reports are to be believed Live Nation & AEG are currently making offers for a tour/show. All they've said is that there won't be a tour in support of the Next Day and there is nothing planned - they have not mentioned next year.

Next year is the 50th anniversary of his first single - it's a perfect opportunity to play some celebratory shows.

This time last year everyone had written him off and expected nothing from him. One worldwide number one album later and anything could happen.

His guitarist hinted otherwise. Most likely one or 2 shows but to be honest I can't see it being anything other than Glastonbury.

Just cant see Bowie playing really, though would love if he did, was amongst the main reasons I went full weekend for the first time in 04, would be nice to get one last full one in to end things on.

If Bowie plays live again I reckon it will be his own shows at the biggest outdoor venues he can get. I think T will struggle to book him, with far bigger promoters offering more money.

To be fair I read somewhere that they had lessened their fest demands and were up for playing fests, I still cant really see it but it would be a momentous coup for both Glasto and/or T and it would sell out watever day they were on for a cert

Surely T wouldn't be ACDC's preference as they would rather play download or at least Reading and Leeds. Can't see them doing more than one festival really if they did do somewhere

You never know. Didn`t Geoff also say that he believed some " heavier " bands would be available next year. No-one thought the Stones would ever play Glastonbury and they turned up and smashed it. I always think these discussions start way in advance so fingers crossed ACDC are lined up already for Glastonbury AND T.*

* I accept that them being a T is more me being hopeful than anything else but if your going to turn it round you may as well do it in style !

Wonder if Coldplay would do T again as thier new single is out, album to follow. They could be the pop act that alot of people wouldnt complain about
