No they won't. People may have seen through Beady Eye, but Noel's solo career is far from finished.

I saw Oasis at Murrayfield on their last tour and most people were only interested in hearing stuff from the first two albums. I doubt Noel wants to give up what he is doing to go back to that just now.

Skrillex too small for that slot? Would probably move him down a stage if I could think of another act for his slot. Maybe Tinie Tempah could sub with Example headlining R1?

Just a random throw together from some of the previous suggestions, trying to give each stage a even playing field, though I'm sure there will be some debate over some positions... Going by other fests discussions, since some want an old school/special type act, anyone for Elton John? played a blinder at Bestival from the sounds of things

I think Rock Ness would do great to go for Manics but I expect them to be at T. Tinie and Bruno are too far down now I think. Tinie already in 2012 played a slot at T that was bigger pretty much than him playing 3rd as it was that year.

Can't see Paramore subbing with Bruno below - he played BBC Radio 1 weekend above them this year. I think that is overall just too big to fit them all in.

I kinda wonder if they can get away still with Example being 3rd main, he would've headlined Other Stage easy at Glasto if it wasn't for The Rolling Stones, he's as big as C&S surely, it was just good to have that combo, he's done the 3rd position last year at IOW and T etc, based on that I think Radio 1 headliner.

I wouldnt use radio 1s weekends as a measure for anything to be honest, though I did have Bruno Mars with Paramore under him (much like MCR where third in 2011), I'd put C&S above Example really, maybe less material but they have more momentum behind them I feel for the push up, Tinie was just an example really to break away from the two guitar acts above them (and to stop another person suggestion The Vacinnes....)

QOTSA wouldn't want a sub slot as they are too big for that now. NME headliner or nothing, and drop the pop acts.

The Manics were excellent in King Tuts on the Journal For Plague Lovers album but pretty poor on Main Stage last time.

Nine Inch Nails could be touring again next year so would be worthwhile - perhaps headlining Tuts.

I really don't get the appeal of Paramore. There is nothing special about their music whatsoever - it has no real edge at all for me and I've heard others do what they do better.

First off, Elton John?.................Fuck yeah I'd love to see him.

Chiefski your line up is well balanced and has a good mix for both guitar and pop fans to see something at all times. T would never put on something so sensible :)

After Trent Reznor's hissy fit at Reading about not headlining I doubt they would play Tuts but if they did it would be amazing. I don't think teh headline full production set would fit in teh Tut's stage though so the only place they could play IMO is R1 headliner.

    • In the two years average wage increases over these years has been 7%, inflation over that time slightly lower. It’s possible ticket price will break through the 400 barrier. It’s going to happen sometime so might as well be this year. Maybe up to 405. Of course the whole thing depends on the costs involved with running the event/artists demands etc. That could easily outstrip inflation.  Agree with the possible deposit increase.  Still great value as long as folk can afford it.

    • Each to their own, by all accounts she's still got a belting voice live which some recent acts in the legends slot haven't, and shes got a back catalogue of bangers as she still plays The Eurythmics songs live.    She'd be an amazing choice
    • He didn't understand how getting all his Man U mates in the media to talk him up just kept making things worse. Complete dissonance.    Given how many Man U fans went the "you should be grateful to have a legend like Bruce" I still have a desire to see him manage there. It won't happen but it would be wonderful.
    • Oh yeah - I don't expect a record from Oasis. Just more if it continues beyond 2027 and, if so, how long for.
