Chase and Status played in near darkness this year. Both the Saturday and Friday should see decent darkness for a sub headliner. Unless one has a special extended set.

I reckon Arctic Monkeys are more or less a dead cert. Biffy are probably a strong possibility following the extremely positive reaction of their R&L headline set.

Gaga hasn't announced any touring plans for her new album yet. It took her almost a year to tour her last album after it was released. So she might not even be on the road. Read an interview with her recently where she said she's going to try and keep this tour quite intimate. Mind you, an 85,000 capacity festival might be intimate to Gaga's standards.

Kings of Leon will probably be booked due to their 'status' as one of the biggest rock acts in the world despite the poor ticket sales and reception to their recent dates (including the Bellahouston gig).

Franz Ferdinand's new album went top 10 at the weekend. Not the strongest of placing but still enough to justify a solid position on the lineup. Sub or NME headliner?

I think we'll probably need to wait until acts announce touring schedules to get any sort of idea of possible headliners.

KoL had poor reports from V, I think they've past their poppy headline status now. Musically this is probably a good thing but I suspect if they don't headline T next year then they won't be back in the top spot.

As for the pop act, I'm rooting for Katy Perry, but that's more hopeful than anything else.

Calvin Harris as a sub would make sense, but him playing again would be far and away the most pathetic bit of booking T have ever done, and that would take some doing.

why not? if you can play is it 5 or 7 years straight now? why not one more, he got a huge crowd, the joint tour he's doing sold well and he's always said as long as they want him he'll do it. radio 1 header or main stage sub.

you could go from a decent set of headers to bruno mars, nutini and calvin for subs.

Calvin won't be back again, it would be a terrible repeat and a massive mistake for T. Don't get me wrong I don't mind him, got some good tunes but I've seen him and wouldn't be fussed again. T need to make it interesting and even if they want to keep it dance orientated on the Radio 1 stage for headliners why not take them from this lot;

The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Tiesto, Avicii, Basement Jaxx.

3 of them would make it very interesting and thats not even the main stage headers!
