So....

Friday: RAM records with Andy C etc (prob with Loadstar or Wilkinson etc)

Saturday: ??????

Sunday: Ratpack with Baby D and Angie Brown

Any rumours for the Saturday...?

A little surprised with the Ratpack booking, no one really knows about them anymore but will work..

I predict an announcement today. Arcadia on facebook said leak soon 3 days ago..

"Headline" Fatboy Slim just when all the other main stages have finished in a main thoroughfare next to the Other Stage. SOOO many people are going to want to go to this. As people said Arcadia sound system whist good is only really audible "when you are in it" so people on the outskirts are gonna hear jackshit. This is gonna be so dangerous with people pushing and pushing so much to try to get to hear anything. I hope they have thought this through properly. Is there going to be security to stop peope pushing to the front? I doubt it.

Reminds me of Glade in 2004 when FBS was at the height of his fame and down as Drunk Soul Brother afterhours. I think they realised their mistake and it was eventually Nick Warren (much to my delight as he is so much better). Although it was still absolutely rammed as people still thought it was FBS even with the rather different musical styles!!

I don't think it'll be too chaotic - he's not done much new lately and there's a shedload of newere DJ/Dance talent elsewhere that excites the young folk

Praying one of those TBCs is Beardyman, he owned that rig last festival on thursday night

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
