Not having a go at the OP, but it's a shame it got spotted really. I think some one else said they'd taken down the webcam today to try and hide it, i suppose it's inevitable that someone would of seen it but it would have been great if they'd kept it a surprise untill the night.

Now everyone's going to be waiting for this fire breathing dragon/bird during Stones.

Genuinely baffled. The Stones would seem the obvious band to have something aside from the normal set up but that's the only link I can come up with.

Watch it just have been an unorthodox storage solution or trial of something that doesn't get used!

Interesting...

I only know half the story (I thought it was going to be the Lips). I was told Mr. Eavis didn't want this to happen (too much hassle, sets a precedent for future years etc). Someone said to the Stones, "Hey, look what we could do". The Stones liked it, Eavis didn't, looks like the Stones won out. There's hydraulics involved.

I try & find out the other half of the story tonight.

    • 1000% agree with this. I was there last night, ridiculous how good he was.
    • Hi Everyone!   I need your help. I'm trying work out who was playing at The Wishing Well at 3am on the Monday morning at the 2025 festival - this was once the official setlist had ended. The music was down tempo, bass heavy, kept evolving, just mesmerising. Anyone have any ideas? and/or was there as well?
