Cheers @Miesh, good to hear of the playlist out there in the real world, soundtracking your evening!

I've updated PJ Harvey with her new album, and a few poster acts from their Coachella setlists - most notable surprise was Grimes not playing Oblivion, so that's gone. Also M83 dropping Couleurs, which will disappoint @FloorFiller (among others).

It's incredible the amount of effort you must put in every year to share this with us, as just for us listeners the amount of tracks is huge by the time we get close to the full line up.

You're truly are a Knight and a gentleman :D

Agreed. You do such consistent, good work that it's easy to take for granted. I listen to it every day. It's ace.

 Thanks again.

Added to the Glastonbury 2016 playlist: latest self-confirmations Henry Saiz, Will Young, Auntie Flo, Great Scott, Freerange DJs, Band of Skulls, Elle King, Ad-Apt, Solardo, Dave Seaman, Josh Caffe, Van Dammes, Black Friday, Elliot Hall & Rapunzel, Ben Miller Band, Andy C, DJ Yoda, Disciples and Baloji; forum tips The View and Hayseed Dixie; and because their tour dates make them look very likely, Preoccupations (formerly Viet Cong) and Braids.

No worries @morph100.

Started adding the Silver Hayes lineup to the playlist, we already had 16 of them, added those highlighted by the official site and a few more I recognised or are being discussed on the thread on here. As always selections are based on recent setlists/tracklists as far as possible. Will get the rest on when I get a chance. They're after the main lineup poster, about halfway down, beginning with Ady Suleiman.

Prior to that had added The Little Unsaid, Loonaloop, Toy, 808 State, Mixmaster Morris, Dende, Izzy Bizu, Mal Webb, WSTRN, Jake Morrell, Frightened Rabbit, General Roots and Jaguar Skills.

Finally finished adding the Silver Hayes poster to the playlist, straight after the main playlist about a third of the way down. Several of the acts/DJs on there have no Spotify presence (in particular they have quite a few local/Bristol DJs listed this year), a few that share their name with other acts who definitely are not going to be appearing in Silver Hayes, and a couple of spelling mistakes on the poster didn't help, but it's all on there now, as far as it can be. As always song selections are based on recent setlists or tracklists. 3 songs per act for Silver Hayes, those playing Sonic will be bumped up to 5 once we know them. Acts on the main poster are undisturbed (not least because they may well be playing a major stage too).

Your normal Silver Hayes fare isn't really my bag, but the Pussy Parlure always has some great funk/soul stuff and the Gully features some World acts, so don't write it off out of hand.

Will hopefully be able to add Avalon, Left Field and the Common in the next few days, they won't take anywhere near as long.

Also added recent self-confirmations/TBCs Example, Travis and Kwabs.

:P

Ha! It was getting to that point!

I've just added the Avalon Stage (not yet the Cafe) to the Glastonbury 2016 playlist, after Silver Hayes, just over halfway down. Most of Larkin Poe's recent output isn't on Spotify so their selections are somewhat misleading. Their current sound is much more polished like 'Stubborn Love' than the rest of the songs on there. Most surprising thing for me was finding Mitch Benn's comedy songs actually made me smile, and that Joanne Shaw Taylor is blues rock, with that name I was expecting a mild-mannered folkstress.

The Avalon Cafe lineup is now on the playlist. About 2/3 of the way down, starting with 3 Daft Monkeys.

My main discovery from this is Glastonbury regular 'Lekiddo - Lord of the Lobsters!' I had always assumed that this was some sort of crustacean-based circus act, but it's actually far, far stranger than that: http://www.lekiddo.com/home.html.

I'm new to this Spotify lark. Is there any way at all of filtering out some songs from the playlist for myself? There's so much dancey stuff on there thats not my cup of tea.

I think you'd just have to create a new play list and move all the stuff you do want onto it

Yes, that's what I did last year, if you like the sound of a tune click on it and add it to your own playlist, so your creating a subset as you go.

Perfect, thankyou. :) Tho I suppose I gotta spend a while on the main playlist to eventually form my own. Mmm, tho is it possible to select every single song, put them all on my playlist, start listening to it on random, then deleting every song that comes up that I dont want? Then it will naturally form into a playlist of songs I like and songs I am yet to hear!

Thanks BSR for yet another fantastic selection.

Listened to this last year and found some absolute gems, really broadens your horizons musically. I'm normally into mainly Dance / Soul, but now I'm appreciating all sorts of genres. Absolutely love this.

I don't know about others, but I like to listen & download a selection of songs before and during Glasto that reminds me of that year!!!

Keep up the good work :D

Just a quick post to point out Spotify are currently offering 3 months premium membership for 99p - perfect for pre-Glasto listening! With premium you get no adds, songs in better quality, can download playlists onto your phone, and can listen to playlists without having to have them on shuffle (and if you do shuffle can skip as often as you like): https://www.spotify.com/uk/

I'm not quite as on top of things as previous years but I'll add the Glade, Shangri La and London Underground lineups to the playlist soon.

You could do that, though you'd still have to keep coming back to the main playlist when new things are added. Also, I'd seriously recommend listening to things out of your comfort zone - the quality across all genres is always very high, it'll help prepare you for the sounds you'll hear all over the festival (in particular for the dance stuff, if you ever venture to the SE Corner), and variety is the spice of life!

And cheers @DaveyGee - your point about broadening horizons is what I'm trying to say I guess.
