its hard! I want to see chic/nas, the stones and then the weeknd. but it just depends on how it pans out as we're going with a fair few other people. hopefully won't end up at mumford but you never know.

Portishead on Friday ( my heart pains at the clash with Chic, but Portishead will be a seminal gig)

Stones on Saturday ( together will about another 150,000 poeple it seemds :)

Absolutely no headline act on Sunday because IMO they are all pretty meh. Opinion i know but there is nothing that takes me, i am hoping for something to show up on one of the smaller stages, will decide on the day. I am really quite adament that they have made a balls of it for Sunday, where i reckon that they should have had at least Chic or Bootleg Beatles to provide that party feeling to end the fest.

Mumford and sons will be rammed, especially considering all the locals will be camped on the pyramid watching too.

For me

Friday: Either Crystal Castles or Arctic Monkeys, may call it on the night

Saturday: Stones

Sunday: Perhaps Shangri-La after Smashing Pumpkins but may use it as a chance to see some new bands

Fri: Chic (though I'm dithering STILL a little over the Portishead clash).

Sat: Maybe Public Enemy and if it's not grabbing me I'm in the right area to slope off to the naughty corner.

Sun: Nothing grabs me - bimbling time. Come Sunday I'm usually pretty beat so will just go with my mood.

Could be anyone of Arctics/ Chic/ Portishead, depending on my mood and the weather. At the moment probably Chic.

Stones

The headliners for Sunday so far are pretty much average to poor IMO so hoping that someone will be announced on one of the smaller stages that I can get down too.

Arctics on Friday (I'm so sorry, Portishead), it can never be anybody but the Stones on Saturday, and following the Pumpkins on Sunday I could get up to all manner of shenanigans! ... Not Mumford though, that's a shenanigan too far.

I'm probably gonna end up doing the Pyramid all 3 nights, for the the 1st time.

BUT I would love to see Portishead, and Chic on the Friday,

and Phoenix on the Sunday.

So I'll decide on the nights, the Stones is the only one set in stone for me.

    • Good catch this. Used on the Main stage on Saturday like a really cheap alternative.   Cracking little day though. A few Belgian acts to start the day (Atomic Orchestra, Kids with Buns, Selah Sue), some UK/IE midsized bands to end the afternoon (Gurriers, Wunderhorse, Wet Leg) and then an evening of Deftones, Florence and Underworld.   Can’t wait to be there and (at least try to) make the most of it.
    • I would be surprised if they don't, given 2022 was the twentieth I imagine next year is going to be pushed as the 25th anniversary so having the most local big name artist possible headline seems natural. Maybe SFA are being saved for then too?
    • I’d be incredibly surprised if she was in the headline conversation at all. At best I could say a high Pyramid slot but I reckon maybe Other headliner against a rock act like Fender or even Other sub (where I have her in my predictions). I’d say Gracie Abrams is pulling similar if not better numbers to Tate and she was third down on the Other last year.
    • I dont think headliner. Other stage maybe
    • Sophie Williams (journalist and Mercury Prize judge) was on Huw Stephens' roundtable last week, said she'd love to see Overmono headline Green Man. Does feel like it's bound to happen. 2027 is surely on the cards seeing as they're about to release a new album
