In agreement with most of the comments on kendrick here. Personally, I really like that he's going in a fresh direction - the new music seems to have a bit of a jazz fusion influence (maybe from working with flylo on never catch me) that I'm really digging. Anyway, I'm so excited for it, really hoping he's gonna make an appearance at glasto - was thinking maybe a jp or west holts headline slot could be perfect.

https://soundcloud.com/youngfathers/rain-or-shine-2loving the new young fathers single, they'd fit pretty well on jp, park or west holts i reckon

They were on stupidly early on The Park last year - I went, but it was just too relentless for my hungover Saturday lunchtime mood.... had to sneak off - would like to see them at a better time

I saw Nas performing Illmatic in Australia last Thursday and he was amazing. I'd love to see him again but didn't he play a few years ago way down the bill? Has he earned a higher place since?

He performed Illamatic at Lovebox on the Saturday last year as well. I went on the Friday so missed it but heard it was immense. I didn't realise he played in 2013 and i don't think he's done anything to earn a higher slot. Would be great to see though.

madvillain are playing somewhere.... please can we dream, please, no seriously, please

DOOM on his own would be great, but with madlib, presumably playing mainly tracks from one of the GOAT hip-hop albums of all time (actually scratch the hip-hop), would just be something else and a definite act of the weekend for me.

I realise I'm kind of running away with fairly misguided hope a bit here

Method man & Redman would be awesome. As much as i love Wu Tang, i would prefer just those two doing a set. Blackout has to be one of my all time favourites.

same. i just bought one of those wu tang tickets and it's just like a lucky fucking dip to be honest, and when only half of them turn up it really turns the show into a sham.

Passed on Newcastle tickets for exactly that reason. I love them and it's great to see them up here but 40 quid to potentially see the B-team just wasn't worth the risk. Especially having forked out for the 6 music shows.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
