I love the smaller stages and venues like Bourbon Street where I think you'll find more variety than any other festival I know.

Luckily all those smaller venues are subsidised by the TV rights sales attracted by the Pyramid 'big names.'

I'd love a jamming stage. Just a load of equipment set up where any of the proper performers can just rock up anytime and jam with any other performers, just on impulse from getting fucked up together back stage. It would be a total shit show in terms of any kind of format, and could be utter chaos, but could also produce some moments of magic. Would make compulsive viewing.

Probably wouldn't work at all, but would be a great experiment one year.

I think some people may have misunderstood you mate and think you're on about doing this instead of the pyramid and other stages, as opposed to as well as. I may be wrong, but that's the impression I get. I see nothing wrong with someone doing what you're on about inn the Park or Avalon, for example, for half a day.

Why don't they have an 'Eavii themed weekend'? - this could take the form of all the acts Emily and Michael would like to book, and are able to book playing on the main stages over the weekend.

I know there are other festivals that do this, such as Glastonbudget, but I love the idea of a tribute acts stage or day. There are some quality tribute acts around these days and it would be great to have a bop to some Queen, Pink Floyd, Abba, Beatles, Bowie, etc. They would go down a treat especially on the Pyramid first thing, or on the Wednesday

If we had an eFests curated night I'd hope Neil would take charge on it as opposed to letting joe spudmuncher get involved. Then at least we'd get a Rocksteady All-Star knees up rather than the bland leading the bland piffle we've seen on this thread.

Don't worry Wooderson. A reliable source has told me that The Rolling Stones, Gaga, Mumfords, Arctics or any other band mentioned in the "Headliners 2013" thread (apart from Prince) are not playing. I can't say who that source is though.
