They've not sold out Alexandra Palace yet, so I doubt they'll sell out the o2, in any quick time, anyway.

seen Clock Opera at Festival No 6 last night and they where amazing, would be good seeing them up in the Park stage.

Also New Order where superb so I wouldn't mind having a few quid on them being Other stage headliners

There is definitely some growing support for New Order on the other stage based on their festival season this year it seems. I'd never have predicted that a couple of years back, so fair play to them.

I read in a post here that Hooky no longer plays with them. How does that work out? His bass was the heart of so much of their music, I always felt (but I am a bass fan, so biased)

I listened to that new Vaccines album the other day, half of it sounds like an indie record from 1987, then it just sort of fades away into mediocrity. Like the girl with the curl, when it's good, it's very good, but when it's bad it's bloody awful.

Yup pretty much the same for me with the Vaccines, sometimes I think their half decent ...then yeah goes to another song and I can't stand them. They will be massive for that reason, they know how to write a couple of hits every album.

That teenage icon song keeps getting in my head all day when ever I hear it on the radio of morning at the moment as well annoys me

I just can't understand how The Vaccines are so massive in the UK. Their first album is not bad, but no way is it even close to one of the best from last year. I enjoyed seeing them Big Day Out earlier this year I guess, but they played at 2pm on the 4th stage there..

They have only just released their 2nd album and are already being tipped to sub the Pyramid? I find that pretty ridiculous, considering a great band like Editors on their 3rd album only subbed the Other Stage in 2010.

Best, nope ... but that's nearly always the case with 'commercial' or 'radio friendly' acts.

I can see why they've got big appeal to the sorts of people who buy the music of those sorts of acts.

I can see The Vaccines playing 3rd behind Radiohead on the Pyramid. They're a huge act at the moment.

As long as Michael Kiwanuka, Frightened Rabbit, Bon Iver and Guillemots are on the bill somewhere, i'll be happy.

I'd like to see The National given a Park headline slot, would be good to see Sigur Ros headlining the Other Stage... apart from that I'm fairly relaxed about what is booked, there's always plenty of variety around.

Someone like Cypress Hill or Public Enemy would be great in the Pyramid 'Hip Hop slot' on Friday afternoon... really can't think of anyone I would rather see doing that off the top of my head, other than Outkast but can't see that happening.

St Vincent and Byrne?

Personally, I hope not - and I say that being a HUGE Byrne fan.

I'd prefer that he didn't play with St Vincent, and instead either played next year solo or in 2014 solo ... if he plays with St Vincent then i'm guessing it's going to be a fair few years before he'd be back to do a storming Talking Heads set.

(And if he can squeeze in the raved up version of 'I Zimbra' that he was doing in his live shows in 1998, that would be mind-blowing )

The National are probably too big to headline The Park now. If they were to play, I could see them headlining JPT or sub-headlining the Other Stage.

Well I picked the Park as a nice venue and I think it would suit them. Plus we've had Pulp and Radiohead there in recent years - I think the capacity up there stretches quite large.

this year will be a funny one as you wont be able to rule out many acts based upon the fact "they played last year" apart from the very top headliners. Most acts who were there in 2011 will be fair game for '13 as well.

from an arena perspective i hope any pray that the beat hotel returns as it was a great late night area alternative.

purely bands / acts we need to see: Kindness, Wild Beasts, Hot Chip, 2 Bears, Greg Wilson, Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco (Live as opposed to DJ set), Inner City (if they are still touring by then!) And of course CHIC for the west holts headliners.

headliners or even 2nd headliners rarely make or break my glasto. i need somewhere accessible with decent DJ's till late to keep me happy. accessible tends to mean not in the late night areas as they are too busy to enjoy at peak times I find.

very interested to see how the re design of the late night areas will work, thats probably going to be the only real significant difference between the 2013 festival and the 2011 one and the success or failure of it, as well as the extent of the change could have a big effect on how the entire event is perceived! its a big task.
