If any of those were to play i would be more than happy having seen some of them already i was very happy with seeing them. But most importantly the man that is -

ROLF HARRIS!

Should be there regardless.

Ahh right, so it's just festivals they want to play then?

that's my guess, yup.

Even if the dates were right I think it's hugely doubtful that they'd have got bookings from those fests this early - they're a very minor act in the scheme of things, and pretty unlikely to be considered for booking before around the end of the year because of that.

What do you guys think are the chances of Black Keys and Jack White playing? They will both have an album out for 1+ year when the festival takes place, and they have already toured European festivals this summer. But they both seem to love the festival. So what do you think? What are the chances?

Na. Far too lightweight to carry it off for me. Having streamed it a couple of times this morning (at coexist.thexx.info/), their new album is seriously wishy washy. Hopefully it's a grower as I liked the first album but at Glasto, I remember seeing bits of them twice in 2010 and being underwhelmed on both occasions.

I wish they did play low down, because that would make them more likely to headline JPT, but they played second to Jamie T. I'd much rather see them headline JPT, and I have heard they themselves have often said in a tent or nothing, but I can only really see them on Other or higher unfortunately. I think they'd be slightly too big for Park headliners, and possibly not in tone with it.

I'd love two of the days to be something like:

New Order

Foals

Crystal Castles

Jesus And The Mary Chain

The XX

Alt J

Vaccines were on Soccer AM this morning saying how much they enjoyed Pilton Party. Could they headline JPT? I can only really see them playing in JPT, and although them headlining it might be a push, them playing PP, Alexandra Palace and having a new record might just justify them as headliners.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
