Not sure many will be interested but Professor Green just tweeted that he is only doing 1 festival this year but he isnt allowed to say yet.

One assumes this would be Glasto? I think most others have released their line ups

Not sure if this is the right place for this but hey,

Is anyone else feeling a little bit like quite a few of the bands they wanted keep being announced elsewhere, every week the list of possibilities is dwindling.

I know this opens the whole lineup to be more of a surprise but I was chatting to a couple of my friends who are coming with for the first time this year and they are looking at other lineups and then looking to me when the acts that are mentioned are ruled out.

they've said they're not doing the secret set thing (to the same extent) because the crowds got ridiculous, so i doubt they'd go back on their word and get Muse and Blur to do it, two bands who many would kill to see in such a small intimate way

To be fair, Emily said that they wouldn't be scheduling them so they would be "real surprises" but that doesn't mean they can't be acts with large followings. With the best will in the world, what's the point of secret slots at all if it isn't people who are in some way significant;

"I couldn't believe it. We were there waiting for The Vaccines when out pop Barry Gontchev and the Ballistics to do a secret set!"
