People who post their pics on Facebook, you do realise that those of us who never have, never would, and never will have Facebook accounts will never see your photos. The Web is free, there are innumerable ways to post pictures, yet you choose to upload to a closed $60 billion website that's only intent is to rape you for your personal information and sell it to the highest bidder. Why would you do that?

The internet is supposed to be public. This is most certainly not, if you have no account and do not consent to the Facebook terms and conditions you can not see it despite it being "public". Facebook knows what you watch, what you listen to, what you read, what time you look at it and how many times you look at it, then sells this information to anyone willing to pay. This is quite different to what happens here for instance, though you will see that the Facebook spiders are often at work down there on the members viewing list. So what you might say, whatever, it's just a shame that you naively restrict your valuable content in a closed arena believing it to be public.

the people I know are more likely to see my photos if I put them on Facebook than anywhere else

you might as well be saying "my friends are more likely to see my holiday snaps if I send them all a copy than if I leave them on the street".

Simple fact is: more people will see your pics if you left them on the street than if you sent copies to all your friends.

Don't know if this will work but...

Facebook may stop you seeing the album without agreeing to some Ts&Cs or whtever, but the individual images are unprotected:

After thought - apologies if you didn't want your photos linked to like this, just say and I'll take them down if you want.

    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
