But yeah, interesting additions. Still great in my book. Surprised at how rock main is, and some of the dance stage bands arent dance at all.....but its ok! Enough interesting stuff going on, glad modestep are on early NME.

Still no decent alt to eminem though! looks like magnetic man for me

so they've fucked up the stage name then, why not call it "whatever the fuck we want to put on it stage" or "random bands we couldn't fit elsewhere"

It does seem fucking stupid that they're headlining the one stage you'd expect to be able to go to if you wanted to get away from all the dance/electronic music

Yeah, lock ups abit odd. Tomahawk and a Shikari dance act as headliners :S

checking out some bands though, Heavens Basement and Arcane Roots are good. Is this the rock day, cause it isnt lock up like??

Yeah, Shikari is the 'Rock Day' (its also fucking stupid that they have to have a specific 'rock' stage for what is predominantly a rock festival btw)

I think FR is pretty strong this year though.

Main and FR make up for the shocking NME and "Rock stage".

The bottom 4 acts on each NME day are probably the best, + Bastille.

I'm pretty happy with the line up on the whole, not the best but far from the worst. Will find plenty to do across the weekend

It's the worst in a while. '60+ new bands just added'. the majority aren't bands.

Delighted with Skindred but my ticket was bought on the back of the Biffy announcement.

Nothing really getting me overly excited in this announcement. A bit gutted about Pure Love clash though.

We bought a Sat day ticket (Leeds) when Green Day & System were announced. Couldn't do a full weekend this year as a mate's getting married on the Friday. This announcement's fantastic for us. While She Sleeps, Skindred, Deftones, SOAD & Green Day plus what ever Lock Up stuff we can squeeze in. Fantastic day of bands & very little 'NME style' one album wonders. WIN!.
