The NME seems eerily small, 9,8,8 compared to last year's 11,10,11 (The 10 had Green Day beforehand too).

Considering the acts have smaller back-catalogues this year, surely this doesn't mean they'll be getting longer sets, and there should be more acts added? Not necessarily big ones, though the absences of the likes of Everything Everything and Miles Kane are glaring.

I actually think this year is a triumph, despite NME being pretty shite. but this has it's advantages with the main stage being so strong with the likes of SOAD, Green Day, BMTH, NIN, Biffy, White Lies, Blackout, Brandnew (who I have just listen to for the first time and have no idea why i have never before...). Most of which are some of my favourite bands!

With Fidlar, Cerebral Ballzy, Drenge, Tame Impala also on the bill it makes for a pretty good year for me.

Has anyone done an updated clashfinder?

Looking now if it wasn't for System I could get a day ticket for Sunday and be pretty happy. I was hoping for some bigger names on the Dance stage like Madeon and Netsky but obviously with having to book so many extra acts it seems as though they couldn't afford them. Lock Up is okay, albeit again smaller it seems. Festival Republic has pretty weak headliners but a reasonably good undercard; although all the bands I'd like to see are probably clashing with bands on Main/NME at the same time. The Rock stage is a neat idea; there are some great bands on there but again I reckon I'll have some bad clashes (ASIWYFA/NIN) where Main/NME will win out. The lower half of main stage just looks like a cost-cutting exercise.

In conclusion I think adding so many new stages has diluted the line-up by some degree.

And a clashfinder is here:
