If they are around, I can't see them anywhere but Glasto. After playing go knows where this year, glasto might even have them on a complete UK Exclusive, but agreed on the Noel booking, 170k people have already had the chance to see that this year with V.

Not that this is the Glasto forum but Glasto has turned downed both Red Hot Chili Peppers & The Cure in the past due to their poor live reputaion, if Stone Roses are a big of a live dud as I expect they will be I can quite easily see them not playing next year.

Any chance of RHCP do you think? I read an interview earlier with the chief booker (I think), and he was asked why bands such as Radiohead, Rage and RHCP weren't booked this year. He replied that it's because they had all played within the last 5 years and said he'd love to have them all back.

It'd be amazing if RATM returned next year. Is there any chance of it actuallu happening though? If they had new material by then I think it'd be a bit more possible. I don't reckon they would book a headliner to play the same set as they did a few years before. But tbh I couldn't care if it was the same, its Rage!

Fuck Stones Roses seriously! Brown has been a weak singer for years and their last bunch of shows were so bad it forced them to quit, FR would of hopefully learnt their lesson from Red Hot Chilli Peppers and not book headliners that are horrible live.
