Tears at Glasto

Why do so many people cry at Glasto ? People round here are always bangin on about when they say this band or that , and when they played this song or that , blah blah blah , it made them cry !

Whatta buncha big girls blouses !

'' Oh yes , I was watching Anal Tincture on the dogbreath stage , and just as the sun was going down they started playing my fave song Nibble your Nob and thats when the tears came ''.

And then , when they get back home they wanna tell everyone on the net what a ponce they've become !

I mean really , what is happening here , is it because of Gazza crying and the whole country crying when Princess Di brarn bredded' it , I think it could be yeah . An' now loadsa people at Glasto are doing it left and right of centre it seems.

I've never cried at Glasto , never , not once. I did nearly cry once, when a Hells Angel lobbed a full can of beer at me annit whacked me on the back of the head . It really hurt and my eyes watered but I remembered I was British and I did not cry!

Can you all just stop it please?!

There's nothing wrong with crying as long as the emotion behind it is fuelled by happiness. I don't much rate it when it isn't. attackofthemongs you should stand up, get a very firm grip of yourself and blart like a baby - especially if that grip is vice like. Embrace emotion, you know you want to.

PS - Hell's Angels are the biggest girlies on the block. Shall all us lads just stick together in a big gang, but it's got to be just all us lads though etc etc. Oooh would you look at her with her new colours.

It's up to the individual if they want to cry I really cannot see the point in this post I've personally not seen anyone cry but have had tears in my eyes at times when I hear one of my favorite songs being sung by one of my favorite bands in my favorite place!! Music creates an emotion in people so it's up to them if they want to blub!

I enjoy a good cry at Glasto. Great music can move you to tears of joy or excitement. My weepies have included Joan Baez with There but for Fortune and Brian Wilson with God Only Knows.

What's wrong with a little sniffle?

I would have cried if I haven't had swallowed a little blue speckly pill at the end of the 90 minutes. I tried to time it so that I would be coming up when England won the match. When we lost I really didn't know what was going on, I was kind of upset, but actually all I wanted to do was find some dirty bitch.

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
