2013 Headliners

Lee Roth knows the score - that they're not as big outside of America.

"There's a whole new audience who doesn't know and doesn't give a shit about Van Halen, and that's exactly the best audience to sharpen your spirit on."

So given that statement, I think its fair to say they won't expect to headline to a crowd who "doesn't know and doesn't give a shit about Van Halen"

Although I suspect Eddie may have a different opinion.

Interesting Kanye news. He's back with a new tour, two dates, in London and Paris at the end of the month.

Bit of guess work here:

To me, this suggests (I hate to bring it up again, but we've discussed virtually everything else today) Watch The Throne won't be touring this summer, as I can't imagine Kanye would go to the trouble of creating a new show, but then not use it.

It also suggests that Watch The Throne not touring gives credidence to the JT/Jay-Z tour rumours, which would probably rule him out of Wireless as I can't see Wireless booking Jay-Z in any form for the third time in five years.

still means it'll be a good year / year and a half until the album's actually out, but nice to know that an album will be in the works! seems like only yesterday King Of Limbs came out, mind, so i'm happy to wait

That is the most laughable thing I've ever heard, the Arctic Monkeys blow M*mford away. They're inventive, have lyrics that actually have some substance to them, have songs that don't sound exactly like each other and aren't a gang of posh c**ts with no personality. Mark E Smith sussed them out straight away.
