Tinie Tempah drew a pretty sizeable crowd last tine but may have been due to the sun coming out!

I'd like the line up to come out purely to convince my mates who don't know "its not all about the music" to get excited to go. Not that they'll get a ticket anyway!

Out of any sub playing any festival this year. Mumford would be the strongest sub. Almost too strong, that's why i'm a little inclined to think they are headlining the sunday..

a straightforwards view would say you're very probably right.

But in the background, I know that Glastonbury approached a number of acts in January (and perhaps Feb too) to headline the Sunday and that at least some of those acts would be regarded as smaller than Mumfords.

My take on things is that Mumfords would have already been signed up before then, and so there has to be a reason why they weren't put into the Sunday slot - and the only thing which seems to make any sense is that they weren't because they are or were the back-up for the stones.

It might be that the stones confirmed to Glasto and that has allowed Mumfords to be moved to Sunday, but my guess is that the stones probably didn't confirm (if they have, of course) before Glasto had sorted another act for the Sunday.

So I'm still plumping for Mumfords before the Stones, unless I get some info that says differently. But of course that's a guess made by piecing together various bits of info, so it always stands the chance of being wrong.

Mumfords would put people in a bloody good mood...

Look as much as you hate them, i've never seen someone ever come back from a mumford gig saying they didn't "give it their all" and that their "shit live".

Maybe they are one of those bands who on record are pretty dull, but in a good setting like a concert, really connect with the crowd, for example... this definitely looks like a bouncy performance to me.

Don't deny, the crowd are fecking loving it!

    • I'd be up for some Bon Jovi in this slot
    • It must be the only slot they haven’t already played. Expect them to be running the dodgems next year.
    • Same drama as last year but got there in the end.  Had to purchase one ticket at a time, still worked out around 15 euros cheaper per 3 day pass than last year though so no complaints!
    • Yeah, never really understood it, some great tracks on it. They were deep in Grinderman mode around then though as well, so maybe that's where Warren and the boys were more focussed.
