My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is an absolutely fantastic album. i think somebody else on here summed it up as the Sgt. Peppers of hip hop albums and that's a perfect description of it. i've wanted to see Kanye for so so long so if he's the third headliner i will be ecstatic

i don't think it was his performance which was the problem - it was his long rantings in between songs, especially the now infamous 'people treat me like Hitler' remark - so hopefully, if he did play, he'd keep the rants to a minimum and put on a hell of a show. i've watched his Coachella headline set numerous times and he absolutely nailed it

i don't think it's possible for him to go an entire show without saying SOMETHING ridiculous, but at The Big Chill he apparently talked for a straight 7 minutes about people hating him and him wanting to put on a perfect show etc. can imagine that being a struggle to watch. but at Glastonbury i'd fully expect him to say something outrageous and get banned from playing the festival again or something similar

    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
    • Healey's first budget with be Oct 28th
    • Been going for 10 years. Wasn't massively keen on the lineup beforehand - although as usual after some research I did start to really look forward to it. We had a brilliant time, felt more like old school Latitude, lovely vibe and we met some nice people. We saw loads but highlights for me -   Lime Garden Florence Road Jalen Ngonda David Byrne - Not a fan of him or TH really but we went out of interest and it was one of those festival shows that you'll never forget. The staging was off the scale. Eleni Drake - Up on BBC Introducing, what a haven that stage is.  Westside Cowboy Getdown Services - Probably highlight of the weekend for me. Absolutely brilliant and have booked tix for them in Bristol next year. Everything Everything - They're my favourite band so I loved it when they were added. A great start to Sunday and met loads of their fans up near the front. Alex James Britpop - We enjoyed it and Gary Stringer FFS! David O'Doherty - Saw him twice, brilliant as usual. Self Esteem - Adore Rebecca and the show was as live affirming as always.   Overall, it was such a brilliant weekend. Beforehand we said that we might give it a miss next year but I'm pretty sure that we'll be sucked right back in!
