I think that Prince is going to headline. Failing that, we could have an hour and a half of this tune being played, as the night goes on, the song will gets louder and louder until the noise is eventually ear splitting, and yes, it has been a long day.

Think I read some comments from you that Cliff had a better 70's than 60's, that he had really grown into his persona. Never got the chance to say how much I wholeheartedly agreed with that synopsis. Cliff had a stellar 70's.

Glasto could do a lot worse than get Cliff headlining all 3 nights. The innocent and heady 60s night on the Friday, the powerpunching 70s night on the saturday, and the accent to Knight of the Realm 80s and 90s set on the sunday. Don't think there could be many complaints at that.

my excitement for the Stones possibly playing has gone way down as of late. when they played their 50th anniversary shows i was super excited but as time's passed i just keep thinking 'they'll probably be very shit'. not that that'd stop me from watching them, mind. i just couldn't care less if they're there or not (but only if there's an incredible band in their place. not Kasabian / Kings Of Leon / The Killers (the 3 K's of musical boredom)

    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
