I think there's a really interesting, clear division between bands who understand it, who come as punters if they're not playing, or came before they were famous and those who see it as another gig on a list. Without exception, despite my personal preferences, I'd rather have the first set of bands, be they radiohead, elbow, pulp, coldplay whoever. It is those bands, who 'get' it who will ultimately be the ones that support the festival and are far more of our view of the festival. They might be the annoying cousin that get stuck with at a party, but they're family.

Yeah, despite the fact I despise coldplay with every inch of my being, I don't begrudge them a Pyramid slot every five years considering everything they've done for the fest (as long as Chemical Brothers are somewhere at the same time).

i'm still going with

Arctics / Radiohead / Fleetwood

just because they haven't been approached yet doesn't mean they won't be approached, so that's my guess

as much sense as booking Mumfords would be... Arctics / Mumfords alone looks drab as hell, so i just don't see it. yesteryears much hyped band (Arctics) and now's much hyped band (Mumfords) seems rather bland

i'd be happy with Jay Z and Kanye but i would've thought Radiohead would be the more realistic 'friend of Eavis' considering Kanye's due to have a baby around June

obviously the Stones aren't totally off the table yet but for now i'm gonna see them as a no-go, so i'll stick with my prediction
