Different times, different festival goers. I'm a fan of Pulp & saw them last year. Jarvis's chat aside, they didnt hold the attention of a big festival crowd.

What about Gaga sub heading the pyramid as Beyonce was supposed to do? In terms of popularity they can't be that far off each other. And have the stones, the roses, arcade fire and/or radiohead headlining.

And about that Eavis interview, isn't next years festival always the best ever ?

Pulp do not have enough material for a headline set. Maybe, 2nd top of the bill but they would not hold attention of a crowd for a headline. As much as Jarvis Cockers chat is immense, its not a good headliner.

Also Gaga would pull it off, but wouldnt like to see her headline.

I think if it were announced that two of the headliners were The Stone Roses and Radiohead, I'm not sure if anyone would be surprised.

(Not complaining though, love both bands and they're both incredible live)

I can't see Plan B as a HL or at least doesn't deserve to be on the strength of one album that did exceptionally well and 2 albums that will appeal to a much smaller market?

I don't think they'd have Kasabian and Roses headline in the same year (personally I don't think Kasabian will ever headline, but that's beside the point). Both have a reputation as lads bands (even if Roses arguably aren't), and I don't think Glasto would want the backlash that comes with it.

1.) If Lady Gaga plays she'll headline, no doubt about it.

2.) Pulp could easily headline. They've plenty of well known songs, they played a fantastic headline set at Leeds last year and they're certainly a "Glasto band". Anyway if The Verve can do it then Pulp certainly can. In saying that, I don't think they will.

I think maybe last year Pulp headlining could've worked; but I think the reunion buzz has died too much now.

Stone Roses would be such a boring choice due to the amount of festivals they have played this year. I know they havent done Glasto/potential exclusivity as only festival next year/there is potential new material and would be very popular, but I just hope they take a more exciting option like putting Arcade Fire as headliners their headline show would be incredible! I suppose one of the factors for Arcade Fire playing is when their new record would be released so that their show would differ from The Suburbs tour!

Stone Roses will probs do IOW fest too. As strongly rumored for that as Glasto and not much time between them. I don't think having played everywhere will matter, new material to be seen, all bands sell tickets off of new material.

Plus, I'm quite confident that Glastonbury will sell out within a few hours again anyway, so the factor of new material/exclusivity doesn't matter.
