Just listened to Valtari the new album by Sigur Ros, in a special one hour preview they did, got me thinking that they should definitely play next year and maybe as a sub to Radiohead or Arcade Fire, if they did it would be a surreal 3 hours of music!

I don't think you can take anything from it to be honest, I don't think you can even be certain he actually asked. Such is the wonders of Eavis and Glastonbury.

A lot of the mainstream and larger indie bands are releasing new material this year, wouldn't be a suprise for world tours at 2012, hopefully with stops at Glastonbury. Those who easily could headline:

Stone Roses under Daft Punk and Killers under the Rolling Stones. You might have a good case to put AF on the Other Stage, but I just think that next year might the Canadians' year.

If The Rolling Stones Played, I think that they'd have to play Saturday Headline, it is the slot that is considered the most prestigious. I can see them playing next year and Gaga on the Sunday. Friday will be a rock band I think (Stone Roses, Foo Fighters or The Killers)
