I've always wondered if you'd grow tired of looking at Hayden Panettierre's puppies if you worked with her every day. Turns out you wouldn't.

He's telling it at he is. His ratings scales are interesting. Changed since I last went (09) and obviously changed from last year. I think from 08 it was ranked as a 2 on the day before the Wednesday, and that festival was far from being a 2 (when 0= washout)

Still a long time to go

Its not his temperatures though, its what the models he's using are telling us.

Now a few days ago I would have said 'These projected temperatures for June are far too low' but what we've had shows that its possible. Its actually quite interesting that someone dug up where we were this time last year and the temperatures there were predicted to be 15-18 degrees. And we know how that ended! B)

I have to say I am losing faith in these weather predictions. They change by the hour and its doing my head in! This thread can be so depressing at times - but its so addictive!

I say we only post good vibes and forget about these 'forecasts' 'til nearer the time.

It isn't our fault, the numbers are against us. I searched for "hot german barman" and got this:

I searched for "hot german barmaid" and got the contents of this thread, oddly.

Bollocks - Latest Met Office view

UK Outlook for Monday 13 Jun 2011 to Wednesday 22 Jun 2011:

The new week starting mainly unsettled and windy, with showers or longer spells of rain, heaviest and most persistent towards the northwest, coupled with a low risk of gales here at times. The best drier weather and sunny spells will be focused towards the east and southeast. Near-normal temperatures, although rather cool in persisting wetter conditions. As the week progresses, a north-south split should develop, with the bulk of unsettled weather likely towards northern UK, with brisk winds here at first. Lighter winds in the south may give warm conditions in any prolonged sunshine. From the weekend, a northeast-southwest split looks to develop, with showers and sunny spells possible across all parts, however more commonplace towards the northeast, with brisk winds and longer spells of rain here limiting brighter weather.

UK Outlook for Thursday 23 Jun 2011 to Thursday 7 Jul 2011:

Fairly changeable weather is expected to continue, especially across northern and western parts of the United Kingdom, where showers or rain are most likely. The south and east should see more in the way of drier and brighter conditions but there is still a chance of a little rain at times. Temperatures are likely to remain close to average in most areas, but will probably remain a little below average where any rain persists in the north and west. However, some southern and eastern parts of the UK may continue to see above average temperatures at times.

unfortunately the GFS has persisently seen to be bringing a low pressure system in and around the UK since it came into range. We just need to hope that they track further north and that damned greenland high that we all crave so much in the winter for cold northerlies fooks off asap !
