although saying seen, I watched for 1 song, then fell asleep - absolute tripe, over hyped, and think of themselves as the saviours of rock

Slightly off topic, different fest: One of the greatest performances was Iggy Pop & the Stooges at Electric Picnic in 2007, absolutely amazing. Guess who came on after them, Primal Scream, talk about an anti-climax. I never seen a main stage area clear so fast, they just seemed so slow and tepid compared to the greatest rockers to hit a stage, the Stooges.

Ben Folds - Other Stage 2008

Bringing some random woman (her out of Dresden Dolls I think) out and letting her do a couple of songs of her album that he had produced - we came to see you, not her!! Only partially redeemed by finishing with Landed and Bitches.

Oh... and it was the Other Stage which generally sucks the life out of any band (Elbow excepted)
