I think its just people wanting them 2 play! However, I sadly don't see it happening! :)

EDIT: found on wikipedia:

In June 2009, Cocker stated in an article in The Sun that he had no intention of reuniting the band but suggested that a financial incentive might sway him.[26] He added that he would be watching how well Blur's comeback performances would be received at the Glastonbury Festival.

It's pretty much down to blur reforming and there is always talk of big reunions some matter more than others.(Such as Libertines they were never that great and probably if they stayed together would have fizzled out.)

Would love to see Pulp, Blur was amazing at T this year and it would be another band I thought I wouldn't get to see checked off :)

JC was awsome in John Peel this year, I'd be happy to see him do a solo set again. Pulp were cool but theres something about old guys singing songs about girls and sex and junk that they wrote when they were young, which is just a bit wrong. Not in a pervy wrong way, just that the young mans anguish and emotion isn't there and they are kind of just singing songs which no longer mean anything to them. you get what I mean???

It's based on wishful thinking and the brilliance of the last time. I can not see Jarvis doing it, he's quite content with his solo stuff and doesn't even play any Pulp when he preforms. I just can't see it, it's about as remote as the other rumor someone mentioned to me the other day of THE Jam!!!!!!!!!!

Do Pulp have the back catalogue? Really? In the eyes of the public it's "Different Class" plus a couple of tracks either side - "Do You Remember The First Time" and "Help The Aged" maybe?

This is not a slight on Pulp - but they're hardly Springsteen, Blur or Neil Young.

    • I really like the Cheap Thrills! I saw them at the Ruby Lounge in Manchester in January at one of Chris Hawkins' "Awesome Friends" nights (which i think is why I even got tickets as it wasn't listed as a Cheap Thrills show!). Very good live and some great songs. I would've gone Saturday if I'd planned ahead!
    • They also seem to be in a mission to break the US with their new major label and this latest LP   Mid afternoon, live streamed on Disney+ is arguably a much bigger gig than Kendal Calling, if they had to skip one
    • This is massively exciting. I've been curious to who will be provide vocals for their live show and this is mega!
