Apologies if this has already been covered ( too lazy to check back ) but anyone got a summary of the cloudbuster stuff. A mate started telling me all about it last weekend but I was in no condition to remember anything about it apart from the guy and members of his family all died and for reasons I can`t remember, Kate Bush and Utah Saints were mentioned. He believes every word of it but in fairness he was in a worst state than me !

Is this what you mean?

http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Cloudbusting

Kate Bush released a song called Cloudbusting which was about the bloke who invented them.

Cheers Windy. I`ve just spoken to my mate. He laughed as he didn`t even remember our Cloudbuster conversation. I`ve just looked up what he told me. After many drams this weekend he`s going to tell me the rest. I`ll update you then if I`m not bumped off :ninja::lol:

Dr Reich claimed to be able to make it rain and was locked up and died in prison weeks before he was due for release. For reasons unknown.....the establishment burnt all his research. I suspect that his machine may well be buried up here in Scotland as it`s always fuckin raining here.

Has no-one heard of this before ?

isn't it amazing just how far conspiracy theorists will go to prove to people what isn't there, which they say is blindingly obvious.

If it was really blindingly obvious, they wouldn't need to fake stuff like this.

I think it was a one day only offer...

Posted peoples reactions now :P

"I would like to answer on your job opportunity in chemtrails industry. As long as I am part of illuminati, I know everything about chemtrails, Malaysian airlines and German Airwings. I think I am the one who you are looking for."

...bit to soon...but

Since going on holiday abroad I can't stop thinking about Madeleine McKan. I wouldn't even have left my baby inside the apartment alone while I sat out on the terrace having a beer, never mind go out drinking properly. It makes no sense to me to do such a thing.

You are not the only one.

If they'd have been chavs they'd have been charged with neglect. But they're middle-class, rich, and litigious. (And liars).

Completely agree. And the amount of coverage that they've received as well is ridiculous. The number of children who go missing and the media pretty much focus on this one.

Whilst I have every sympathy with them and couldn't imagine what it's like, you can't help but think that it's their own bloody fault.

I've said all along something didn't quite add up, and as a parent now myself I find it even more suspicious. I just don't believe they left her and her siblings alone. Something else happened, a tragic accident that they thought they could cover up, something like that, I dunno. It's too convenient that they left their children and one was taken, know what I mean?

As many have said before, if this had been a working class couple in magaluf the papers would have been crying for them to be strung up.

The only people I know who are supportive of the McCann parents are the worst kind of Daily Mail reading Hyacinth Bucket types who falsely dab a tear at every mention of their 'suffering' (the mention usually being the latest court payout).

It's never made any sense to me. I don't get how any parent would leave their child

or children alone in a foreign country or anywhere for that matter

You don't think plenty of parents are shit parents?

I'd guess it happens less now due to Maddie, but I guarantee there's plenty of parents still leaving young kids at home alone when they go out on the lash, particularly when on holiday, and particularly when they can be on the lash within site of their accommodation.

I guess this might come back to prejudices again?

People might be more willing to acept a teen mum from a council housing estate "up north" is a shit parent where as two middle class doctors, seems unlikely to be just that they are shit parents.

Personally I reckon its a bit of both, they left the kids, some sort of accident happened while Maddie was alone in the appartment#and then they covered it up. (Strictly a guess and I am not accusing them of anything here =p)

having worked at a mark warner hotel (where they were staying), I can see how (shit) parents might become lulled into a false sense of security with respect to thinking somehow that their kid might be safe in their rooms.

The whole USP with the company is creating a 'family holiday' that isnt really a family holiday atall - rather mum and dad go off wind surfing / diving etc, whilst below minimum wage nannies look after their brats.

Parents are practically encouraged to leave kids in the room whilst having dinner - although there is a babysitting service which, if memory serves correctly, they had inexplicably not decided to take up.

I actually feel very sorry for the conspiracy nuts. They're all so afraid.

A conspiracy nut is someone who is afraid the western politicians and intelligence agencies would be willing to lie - even make false attacks - in order to generate a large murderous, war.

The trouble is every know and again these worries doe not just get through the hypothesis stage, they actually make it to de facto mainstream history.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Cyclone

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein_and_al-Qaeda_link_allegations

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavon_Affair

It doesn't make every conspiracy theory true - of course - but it does mean some of them are.

Why would anyone be "afraid" of any such thing?

Well, you know that wee scrap of a three year old washed-up on a Turkish beach?

Well, one of the core reasons that kid died was, erm, #3 on that brief list of examples I just gave you. One of tens of millions of horrific outcomes that one thing did.

Really good one on 9/11. Debunks pretty much every conspiracy theory.

I don't buy the majority of 9/11 conspiracies but I do believe the flight that the passengers 'took back' was shot down. No way would that plane have been allowed to stay in the air with everything else going on.
