I just watched that come fly with me thingy. it was alright, some of the gags made me laugh, but in reality its just little britain with new characters and settings

i liked the first two series of little britian, it just got really shit and predictable after that. come fly with me does look like it's just little britain with new characters, which really puts me off watching it.

That's how I feel, even the promos for it make me cringe a bit.

Loved the Christmas and New year episodes of Peep Show, as I said earlier it's a true return to form, this series has been fantastic especially since their on the seventh series.

Shooting Stars Christmas Special was pretty good... Thandie Newton...

Shooting Stars was excellent, in fact I think it's much better since Matt Lucas left, Angelos is hillarious.

aye, i think angelos is much funnier than george dawes. i love shooting stars, i wasn't sure how good it would be when they brought it back but it's still brilliant.

I don't know if this is the most appropriate place for this, but due to Band of Brothers, it seems like the closest; Major Richard Winters died on January 2nd. Truly, genuinely and completely a great man.

Anyone watch Episodes on BBC2 last night?

Its a joint BBC/Showtime production I think, created by one of the Friends creators. Stars a couple of people from Green Wing and Matt LeBlanc. Looks like an interesting mix of British & US humour.

I just watched it, looks like it could be funny, can't really tell by the lead in first episode.

Is it any good? It's got the fella out of Deadwood in it, right?

    • Yeah I do agree on the 2 hour thing. But if they were subbed by Biffy/WA only doing 75 mins or so would be doable.   Only reason I suggested them was because we know they're back doing shows here next year.
    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
