Twenty One Pilots, who is included in the Wish Machine and announced that they will not tour in europe, but maybe they will perform some festival, has been announced Hurricane-Southside Festival. If they come, I would be very happy 🥹

I thought they were excellent in 2019 and would happily take them in 2026. However, Hurricane-Southside is two months prior to when Sziget is likely to take place, so that doesn't bode well.

Sabrina Carpenter, Dua Lipa, Karol G and Kendrick Lamar are rumored to headline Coachella. (Via HITSDD)

IDK if it makes them possible for sziget or rules them out

Last year Post Malone did both Coachella and Sziget, so yeah, possible I'd say

Did anyone else have to use Google to find out who Karol G was?

Just me?

She performed a song at some awards thing where she went over to Taylor Swift who got up and danced with her quite poorly. That's the extent of her.

It's an abysmal set of headliners if so that needs a big undercard backing it. At least grab Olivia and have Dua Lipa, Sabrina and Olivia with Kenny. Failing to get her two years running would be a shock.

You might get one of those at Reading next year as LDR recently did both but it's rare crossover. But both Sabrina and Dua Lipa are bookings Reading would make.

Huge Karol G fan.

Had to Google who System of a down is...

I put SOAD on the same page as Papa Roach but, apparently, there's talk of them headlining festivals which blows my mind a little in 2026. Can't see Sziget wasting a headline slot on them tbh. Apart from Chop Suey there's not much crossover (cue the haters in 3, 2, 1.....)

A lot different I would say, can't say I am a fan or not a fan. Papa Roach were always middle of a main stage band. Whilst SOAD have been headliners for many years, especially once the reunion took place.

Although I get what you are saying. I feel that way about Blink 182 and MCR.

This one was a good one with SOAD..

SOAD just announced a date at Spurs' stadium next summer, so shows how little I know about their popularity.

Looking at that poster, lots of bands split (or gone on a long hiatus) since and recently come back together.. Just wish Jack would give Meg a call.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, a lot of pent up demand because they haven't played here in almost 10 years, I think if they were around every 2/3 years it could be different

Back to bed grandad, those headliners are perfectly fine for Coachella and it will no doubt have a great undercard (as it always does!)

That would make it less appealing.

I agree 😕

I guess the younger generation don't party as much as millenials used to, and Sziget try to sell more "6 days tickets", so maybe 5 days is a better option to attract the new generation .. ticketswill also be cheaper, so...

But I disagree with this "politics" since in any case, they have to do a lot of editing (stages, decorations etc.), whether it's a 3-day or 6-day festival, it costs them just as much, same cost! so normally, the longer the festival, the more profitable it is for them because they can sell their tickets more expensively... in short, this information is strange...

If true, tickets won't be cheaper. Would seem an odd way of making the event profitable. By slashing another day, perhaps 2026 will be the last after all...If true.
