NOS Alive 2026

That’s a pretty good booking for the main stage, given they will be playing before Lorde AND Florence & the machine on the 11th.

I don’t know many of their songs but I know that they are pretty popular across Europe, so I think that it’s quite a strong booking for the undercard!

11th is looking very attractive to me now, but I want to wait for the names on 9th-10th to see if it’s worth a 3 day ticket.

If you don't know an artist, just Google it and you gonna see he plays arenas on his last tour, he also announced huge UK shows for next Summer and his banger "Lose Control" has more than 2 billion listens on Spotify... and they are not fake (let's say a small portion is). This trio Florence + Lorde + Teddy is a strong one, even if it's not really my taste.

I agree

Florence / Lorde / Teddy Swims is a very strong combination for the main stage.

I am seeing both Florence & Lorde separately on tour so it’s great to be able to see them back to back on one stage.

I think this will sell well - it might not sell out, but it will pull in good numbers. Especially as Florence & Lorde don’t show up often in Portugal.

Not a teddy swims fan - anyone disputing he shouldn't be there should consider looking at things objectively.

I've not seen what venues he plays in Portugal, but his UK tour earlier this year was arena's, and sold out

It's the first time that Teddy Swims has come to Portugal.

Jack White was announced today at the In Music Festival, becoming a possibility for NOS Alive.
I saw him there in 2018, it was an incredible day:

I could see both, him headling day two or him being a strong sub for nick cave

I'm not among those 46 million listeners either. I had no idea who this guy was until right now. And I have serious doubts this is the kind of confirmation people is waiting for...

Neither am I a listener nor will start caring for him. So what? It's not like every single confirmation will be one that "people" are waiting for.

Besides. Now that I know that all one needs to do to play NOS Alive is to manipulate spotify numbers... Expect me to be confirmed next year!! Working on it

Appreciated, I Google'd and saw his early 2025 tour included arenas across UK, France, Belgium, Netherlands. Just Portugal/Spain was missed off entirely.

It's strong for NOS to get and act like him playing in the middle of the day.

More important than knowing any particular name is the fact that until (I'd say) last year you could know what to expect. Almost all bands were NOS-like or NOS-ish :-D, even if they were not the most popular ones or your cup of tea, if you know what I mean. But names like this Teddy, Anyma or even Olivia Rodrigo have a totally diferent target, I think. And they change the festival. Probably for the better for some people, but not just me.

Not every announcement has to be a mega worldwise star.

And yet he's still huge. Arena sized act and to have him (I guess) third down is very strong.
