Primavera Sound 2026

There are 120 names = 240 names to compare over the last two years. I think by definition this is quite comparable.

Preference for the headliners is something different, but I don't go to Primavera for the headliners, so The Cure and MBV are a bonus. Massive Attack I've decided to see last year. I don't like Gorillaz or Skrillex. I admit I have bever heard Doja Cat or The xx or the other headliners!

i think they might get the 3 headliners to be honest.

Cure , Massive Attack and Gorillaz

logistically doesnt make much sense for the cure to be in spain and they return 1 month later to NOS Alive

The Cure is practically impossible, October 12th in Austria.

Do we assume all the big names of the top three lines are playing Mordor? I'd rather see PinkPantheress on Cupra or Amazon

The descriptions on the page below segregate the top two lines from the third line.

I could see Pinkpantheress and Skrillex closing Amazon Music Stage.

I'm guessing MBV will be on the Thursday? That's the "loud" Mordor day right? They turn down the main stage volume on either Fri or Sat as far as I remember.

Charli & Troye weren't that loud this year on Thursday. Though Jamie xx was. MBV on Saturday makes the most sense to me. Close out Mordor with a bang.

After a very very brief skim of the lineup and zero research whatsoever, I think I've 20 id class as must see or want to see.

I wouldn't mind an extra bit of electronic stuff, but I guess that's where I'll be doing my digging and discovering.

Unmissable

The Cure, MBV, Father John Misty, Little Simz, Big Thief

Want to see/have seen/clash dependent

Gorillaz, the xx, Massive Attack, Kneecap, Overmono, Alex G, Slowdive, Viagra Boys (are they Unmissable maybe?), Baxter Dury, Ben UFO, Lambrini Girls, Panda Bear, Newdad

Will be dragged to see against my will

Wet Leg

Anyone have any recommendations beyond/based on that? I must check out blood orange's new stuff, amaare, and a few others, but I'm open to suggestions.

Its very solid, I think.

Another question, sorry.

Is this likely to be the full lineup?

There’s already more than enough to tempt me, but I just wondered if the undercard would be expanded.

Thanks (no more questions for at least half an hour)

About 30-40 new smaller names (but still not insignificant - last year Kneecap and Nilufer Yanya were added for example) for city gigs around the festival days plus other small names and replacements.
