Primavera Sound 2026

There are 120 names = 240 names to compare over the last two years. I think by definition this is quite comparable. 

Preference for the headliners is something different, but I don't go to Primavera for the headliners, so The Cure and MBV are a bonus. Massive Attack I've decided to see last year. I don't like Gorillaz or Skrillex. I admit I have bever heard Doja Cat or The xx or the other headliners!

That feels like a Primavera line-up from about 12 years ago and I mean that as a very good thing

logistically doesnt make much sense for the cure to be in spain and they return 1 month later to NOS Alive

The Cure is practically impossible, October 12th in Austria.

I'm guessing MBV will be on the Thursday? That's the "loud" Mordor day right? They turn down the main stage volume on either Fri or Sat as far as I remember.

Yes, one of the drummers belongs to a very well-known band in Portugal called "Linda Martini"

Charli & Troye weren't that loud this year on Thursday. Though Jamie xx was. MBV on Saturday makes the most sense to me. Close out Mordor with a bang.

A bit disappointed tbh in the lack of obviously amazing Auditori lineups on the bill.

After a very very brief skim of the lineup and zero research whatsoever, I think I've 20 id class as must see or want to see. 

 

I wouldn't mind an extra bit of electronic stuff, but I guess that's where I'll be doing my digging and discovering.

Anyone have any recommendations beyond/based on that? I must check out blood orange's new stuff, amaare, and a few others, but I'm open to suggestions.

About 30-40 new smaller names (but still not insignificant - last year Kneecap and Nilufer Yanya were added for example) for city gigs around the festival days plus other small names and replacements.

they had headliners last years, not sure they are big enough.

The XX makes sense, also given their good relations with the festival

Any idea when they publish the day splits and release day tickets ? 
I can get a guest pass for one day so thinking I’ll just buy the other 2 .

 

Also how fast did it sell out after lineup announced last year ? I remember years ago you could still pick up tickets for months.
