Got a Wednesday ticket - do you think the programme/set times will be available then? Ideally want to have some sort of plan when Fri/Sat/Sun come!

Still listening to bands that I'm not sure if I'll be able to see!

I'd be very surprised if they weren't. Look out for them at wristbanding when you arrive. They're usually there but it's easy to walk past them!

Oh yeah I still forget it's 2026 now...

I prefer the wholly veggie/vegan places. Sad as I can see there was one year called Vegan Junkies.

Don't trust in a small van I won't get bits of grim stuff in my food cross-contamination etc. Got a campervan anyway so will just bring my own.

There's a couple of wholly vegan places - one next to the kids area is good.  There was a good breakfast place next to the meadow that clearly had a separate cooking area for the veggie stuff too.  There were a few places I avoided who were cooking everything together on the same grills etc.

I haven't been to BT for a couple of years, but I remember a lot of the beer (i'm a bitter drinker) was sold out on the Friday. Is this a regular occurrence or was that a one off?

I think the standard beers will be available throughout the weekend, but some of the guest beers maybe only in small quantities - so the popular ones will sell out quickly. Not sure how many bitters will be on as its not that popular these days (pale ales seem to have taken over) - but the bar (with a beer "garden") up towards the dance tent has a larger selection of ales than the standard bars - so thats probably your best bet.

Say it quietly but bitter and pale ale is the same thing.

Beer and food shop done! Next task is to battle through all the shite under our stairs to get the trolley, tent and chairs out.

Counting down the minutes now. The thought of being all set up, going off for a wander and getting a cold Jaipur is getting me through the last few days in work.

For those into this kind of thing*, local press are reporting a council hearing on Thursday to decide if karaoke can be allowed in the Knockerdown til 3am for 3 nights.

(*karaoke, not council meetings.)

Anyone found any Ska at the fest?

Used to always be a little. Got some reggae from The Maytals and The Hempolics (recommended if you like reggy) and a bit of Dub from Omega Nebula and An Dansa Dub (with added Scottishness)

Neville Staple is about as classic ska as it gets isn't he? And I'm not super familiar with them but King Prawn sound very ska punk.

There used to be an abundance of ska.

It felt like half the program notes would be "ska", "ska/punk", "punk/ska", "rockabilly/ska", "reggae/ska", "ska/ska"...

    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
    • And all (or all but one) of the secret sets repeats though?
