Mmmmm ... kind of depends. There will be DJs on after and the stage ends at 3, but the actual main act time is a bit random.

Don't think there will be any cannibalising, Loyle played to an almost empty west holts in 23 and will likely be playing to a similar crowd this year!

Future Islands are one of those that could be put anywhere. Pyramid, Other, Woodsies, The Park. All would be equally suitable.

It’s a weird booking for TRNSMT though. They only subbed in the cobbled together Covid year of 2021 so it’s a mystery why they’re headlining that, especially after only playing the Hydro last week.

Yeah, Loyle headlining the Other seems strange. He doesn't seem any bigger than he was in 2023.

They did sell out the Hydro, I think - indeed, this tour has been well received and they finally trudged back to the top of the album charts last year - but when you now know The 1975 are active, even as a repeat booking, you're left to wonder.

I genuinely am thrown by that. To be fair, I think the headline options on the Friday night could benefit The 1975, despite their divisiveness. Expect Busta Rhymes to do very well out of it.
