  1. I lost my pass out when loading the car up on the Sunday, was waiting about 30 minutes whilst they checked over my photo, asked me questions and made sure I was who I was claiming to be. Was all very friendly ofc, but definitely didn't feel like something you'd get away with easily unless you looked exactly like the photo and had everything else.
  2. Very true! There was just quite a few where I thought maaaaybe I'll give them a go, ended up being dragged along and loved it! This year is more binary, some artists I love and plenty I'd never be interested in watching so doesn't feel as likely currently but you make a good point.
  3. Weird one for me this year, there are already more artists that I'd genuinely pay to see live than there were on the full completed line up last year. Despite this, I can't help but feel massively underwhelmed? Idles on the other stage is an absolutely laughable booking and I actually quite like them! Makes me all but certain it was supposed to Madonna/Stevie Pyramid, SZA other and Idles Woodsies but everyone got a bump up, no idea why they'd choose them to clash with Fontaines too. Seems to be missing a bit of magic/exciting acts and instead we have loads of middle of the road indie/durge with the likes of Keane, Bombay, Two Door, Gossip. Some of my favourite experiences last year were being dragged to sets I wasn't that bothered about but ended up having a great time, hard to see that happening so much this year as it just feels very meh? Will 100% still be going and can't wait, just feels like they've played it very safe. Hopefully they'll be more excitement with further announcements.
  4. got to admire him really sticking his neck out there, predicting it to maybe drop on one of the two days we already know it'll drop 🤣

    2024 Headliners

Chances are we probably crossed paths given how small it was! I was in the pit the whole set having a whale of a time, incredible live band.

I saw the first 30 mins of Elton then darted over just in time for the start of QOTSA. Seen them about 10 times and was by far my favourite time seeing them, best crowd I experienced all weekend and great energy for a festival closer. I like Elton but really didn't enjoy what I did see, felt a bit flat for me!
  7. nothing again. i'll be cancelling my ticket now, what a way to treat your audience. disgraceful. 🥲

2 albums and 2 tours to replace stevie as pyramid headliner? nowhere near big enough and way too soon imo, also that would be 3 criminally boring headliners in my opinion (my opinion)

Definitely genuine, it's asking me to input my card details and complete the order. Not sure whether to risk it or not incase they cancel after it sells out or hold my money!

Any danger these will be cancelled do you think? I'm tempted to get em bought now but obviously will be an England address

It's definitely a strong set of headliners in comparison to other festivals, look at Download's in comparison which is the biggest UK fest after Glasto. Their biggest headliner (Qotsa) headlined the other stage last year. It's also pretty damn boring too, especially for me personally. It feels like an AI generated set of headliners. Coldplay as the "rock/guitar" headliner during a year when AC/DC, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins are active shows how safe they're playing it, but at the same time I totally get it when they're more popular, cheaper to book and great for iPlayer watchers so it makes sense. Will be fantastic regardless, but would have liked to see them put a cat amongst the pigeons!
  12. got in for the third year in a row! bit worried as its the first time somebody else has booked for me and I've had no confirmation yet, anybody else in the same boat?

    The Park 2023

Have to agree, have never been before and I'm incredibly excited but pretty much every stage reveal has been really underwhelming (at least for me!) and is zapping my excitement. I'm hoping there's some big bands to still be announced but comparing it to previous years line ups it feels a lot more safe with less exciting/big names. The DJ's look amazing but at the moment there's probably only 5-6 bands I'm bothered about across the whole weekend. Plenty of other stuff to do right?
